    Fabulous

Great staff, available and helpful. Beautiful room , great view, great location.

The breakfast buffet never varied even one item. Boring over a week stay. Also, a terrible fitness room, no weights, just a couple of cardio machines.

    Good

On arrival we were told we had been "up-graded" to a junior suite. If this was an upgrade, I dread to think what the original room was like!! This junior suite looked like it was in the middle of a refurbishment and as it was a busy time, they had decided to use it before it had been finished. The bathroom - although extremely small - was finished to a high standard except it was missing the shower screen so if the shower was used the whole bathroom was flooded! The "sitting room" had 2 stained chairs in it that looked as if they had been used previously in a doctor's waiting room!! There was nothing comfortable about them at all. The bedroom was extremely small too - and very difficult for 2 people to move around in there at the same time. Saying that - the bed however was quite comfortable. With hindsight, I wish I had declined the so called "upgrade". If you are offered an upgrade to room 208 - check that the refurb has been completed - although what they can do about the claustrophobic bedroom - I do not know!

Friendly staff, willing to help with reservations ,etc. The rooms are a good size and extremely clean. Good value. You can go to the Belle Rives Hotel . There is a charge for the umbrella and chair, 34.Euro, but you have the beach for the entire day and night and a restaurant that serves good food.

I liked every thing about La Juana, but the elevator is very small but charming.

The location was excellent and the view was out of this world.

    Value for money.

    Superb

The hotel is small and cosy. I feel very relax during my stay there even with the small child. Across the road there's a shady park with a playground and carousel - perfect place to spend time with children in between a beach sessions. The room is queit, air-con works well. The breakfast is reasonable (fruits, pastry, eggs, smoked fish, ham, cheese, GOOD coffee). We been using Garden Beach Hotel's facility for the beach - it's sand beach, the rent of sun bed costs 25 euros per day. I'll stay inHotel Juana again!

Prices. The "buffet breakfast" is tricky - hotel will charge you extra for berries and other food.

    Good

    pleasant staff rooms clean

there were no coffee making facilities in the room, and no chilled wine in the fridge, and for this kind of money asked for the rooms no fruit. the private terrace had no view and was overlooked by a block of flats.

This is our second trip to the Hotel Juana. The hotel is lovely and intimate. The hotel has a very friendly yet professional team running the hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for them . I would highly rcommend them. We intend to visit the hotel later this year.

    Fabulous

Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Concierge found a great motorboat trip for me an my two boys in a few hours bearing in mind that I asked for an evening tour at midday. The room was big and very nice.

The swimming pool looked much better on pictures in a catalogue then in reality.

From your booking of the classic room, upon arrival, the room was very small. The staff upgraded us,for additional $, to a superior room, which was luxurious and had a magnificient view.

    Superb

This was our third stay at the Hotel Juana in four years as we were obviously very impressed on our previous visits. We enjoyed our stay again, although there were one or two things that disappointed us this time. However, as always, the staff were marvellous - very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and it was always nice to have breakfast out on the terrace every morning. The location is excellent, you just go across a small park opposite the hotel and then you're on the beach. It's only a couple of minutes from the frenetic activity of the centre of Juan les Pins, but those minutes make such a difference because the hotel is in an area which is usually much more peaceful.

Bearing in mind that the Hotel Juana is expensive, we felt that this time, we didn't quite get the value for money that we'd expected. Our room, although comfortable and nicely furnished, was smaller than we'd had before and overlooked a big block of flats which was quite near. Unfortunately every night round about midnight one of the residents played very loud music for a while. This was not the hotel's fault and we solved it by using earplugs but it was a nuisance. The bathroom was spacious but decorated in an old fashioned shade of orange, including the bath and basins - but not the toilet, which was white! We had a bathroom like that four years ago on our first visit but thought they'd have been updated by now! Breakfasts were fine but, again, considering the price we were paying, could have been better. We would have liked more choice of fruit and of breads and rolls. The other two hotels we'd stayed in on our holiday were cheaper but had better breakfasts and we were a bit disappointed this time. Beware what time of year you go to Juan les Pins. On the 7th July there was a big pop concert across the park. The day before, while we were trying to laze by the swimming pool, they were trying out the acoustics and the sound reverberated all over town. On the night of the concert we went to Antibes for dinner to get away from the noise but it went on until about 1.00 a.m. If you love pop music, it's a great time to go to Juan les Pins, otherwise keep away! Again, not the hotel's fault but all this detracted from our enjoyment a bit.

Very friendly staff, fabulous comfy rooms, good wifi connections, great price for the luxuriousness of the hotel. Breakfast was pricey (but lovely) at 27 Euros pp, but went across the park one day to a local cafe and had a lovely French breakfast at only 5.50 Euros. Tried to have lunch on our last day on the terrace in the sunshine, but service was very poor, and after waiting 15 mins, we decided to go elsewhere, but this was the only bad point of the whole stay. There are loads of places to eat and drink nearby :-)

No bad points worth mentioning to be honest!

    Close to midtown

Price/Service ratio top far for a 5 stars hotel. Carpeted floor very hold. Heat control did not work

    Superb

The Juana is so comfortable and relaxed. As a woman travelling on my own I felt totally at ease, it felt luxurious and homely. Love the Art Deco feel and the original central lift. ...make sure you stay as high up as possible for the best views And only on the front. I was on front on 4th floor and had magnificent views of the bay.

A more extensive room service menu would have been appreciated. A better gym. In the summer, the private beach belongs to the sister hotel, La Belle Rive , and is a 7 minute walk away, across main roads. So not easy to go back and forth during the day.
